So I purchased a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Drone about two weeks ago!

Let’s get right into, shall we? Yes, we should!

First I couldn’t wait to get home to open the box and get this drone in the air as fast I could.

 After the assembly process which I had Brittany take care of, as she’s the handy person in the relationship and as she likes to say, you rip things out of the box in her words ”like and Uga- Uga Caveman.”

I went right to YouTube to read up on everything DJI, and the Phantom 4 Pro series, in particular, I could find and get my hands on.

Okay, so after finding some great YouTube videos….. I was ready for takeoff since this was my first initial drone purchase and I didn’t want to crash my very expensive hobby craft.

I left it in the beginner mode for my first three initial flights, and I highly recommend that for any beginner like myself.

I know what you guys came for, so let’s see the footage you have for us newbie

Easton and the mighty Delaware river

we’ve been waiting for some beautiful weather to arrive in Pa, for what seems to be an eternity.

Well, folks, it seems like Spring/Summer is here to stay finally.

I got off from work ran home as fast as I could and told Brittany, let’s go for a ride downtown I want to fly my drone on the river.

The calmness of the Delaware on this day was just incredible, and the fresh breeze blowing in your face let you know that spring was finally upon us.

All we needed now was to hear a car passing by blaring some EAGLES and Don Henley voice blasting thru the speakers, and that would’ve been a picture-perfect set.

Instead, these photos will have to illustrate my imagination and feelings!

Week 10 Leverage Plays!

I want to go over a little bit in detail, on this tool I really love using at @FantasyLabs. It’s the “Contest Dashboard“
Which you can search yours or any other relevant DFS players lineups and their leverage plays. Right after lock, which gives you the ability to predict, that if your plays hit and you have leverage over the field. you will have a nice pay-day, but your also prepared that if your plays don’t hit it will be a quick and no sweat Sunday, and you can now go on with your day.

That’s how I would describe my playing style, as I’m mostly a GPP player. I’m trying to construct lineups with high variance, high upside ceiling and probably a low floor! I mean why else would the masses be off this player and you on them? I mean consistent players are always higher owned then some of these low floor guys but they, meaning “low floor guys” are the ones that make you $CA$H Money!

Leverage plays?? Think of it as …. Stocks, you want to be overweight or underweight on a stock or player right? Yes, you do because when your plays go off and that’s what you need to win a GPP, you need your guy to go 7-10X his salary.

Gawd “POWELL”looks awful at 80% ownership! Truth is, I couldn’t just straight up fade him against my Bucs, could I? I knew he would be the #uberchalk and since I couldn’t full on fade him, I wanted to be overweight on him, which means
Have more shares of him then the field….#LEVERAGE. I also loved Howard, all week-long and he was in the ultimate #HulkSmash spot…. In poker we call it the #Nutz!

Mariota Just missed a Huge Day!!

I had visions of

Winning me some big money this weekend! I mean, I loved Corey Davis, as you can also see in the screen shot below, so game theory would put me on Mariota as a sneaky GPP winning contrarian lineup and as the perfect pivot of the very chalky Stafford… which he was also in a smash spot, but one I could see him passing for a lot of yards, but Det sputtering in the redzone . So I had him pegged for 265-285 and a TD. I could live with that if I thought Mariota would make up for it with 60/70 yd rushing + 4 TD upside on any given Sunday! Right? I also thought the news of Tenn drawing up more designed runs for Mariota, would be huge for his #Upside!!!! Watching Davis fumble in mid-air, before crossing the plain was incredible and then Matthews, dropping a wide open Td when I had them both paired with Marigotaaa!!!

Closing thoughts on Process

When I was trying to figure this Daily Fantasy Sports thing out, which is an everything day thing, that I’m yet to master but I’m getting better at!

What I really meant to say, is when I was a really green DFS player, I thought if I wasn’t winning money, I was doing something wrong and continuously changed the way I approached building and constructing lineups on a daily basis, which was mind numbing, in and of its self! Stick to your process, do your home work and see what you could work on by reviewing your lineups and your peers whether friends or pros or both!
